Blippar demo Google Glass at the British Residence in New York

Representatives from Blippar’s US and UK offices joined forces with the UKTI (UK Trade & Investment) team this week, co-hosting a cocktail party to discuss what lies ahead for wearables and image-recognition technologies.

As proud winners of 2013’s UKTI GREAT Tech Awards (for best British tech company with a US presence), we were thrilled to lead discussions at the event, held in the British Residence, home to British General Consul Danny Lopez.

The event – entitled High-tech, High-rise: Blippar on Google Glass – featured an address from General Consul Danny Lopez to journalists and clients, as well as a live Google Glass demo of never-before-seen features from our CEO Rish Mitra, including an exciting new gaming experience on Glass.

It was an inspiring event that left us all even more excited about what the future holds for the powerful partnership between image-recogntion and wearables.
