Vote for Blippar to host two SXSW 2015 augmented reality panels!

Did you attend this year’s terrific SXSW festival in Austin, Texas? We did, and it was a complete smash hit.

So good, in fact, that next year we want to return in the spotlight.

Blippar has pitched two topics for SXSW Interactive 2015 panel discussions, and we need your help to secure our place behind the microphones.

Our first submission to PanelPicker – an online voting process enabling the SXSW community to help curate the event’s programming – comes under the title Using Augmented Reality for Real-World Search, and the second topic is Product Is The New Media.

Our charismatic CEO and co-founder Rish Mitra will be taking the stage at both, explaining how new technologies such as augmented reality have led to a smart design approach and visually mediated lifestyles, and how such technologies will be bringing brands and advertisers in the future.

He will also discuss how brands can best utilise augmented reality as a tool for consumer engagement, and look at why product packaging is the ideal platform for augmented reality technology.

Expect both to be thought provoking, insightful, informative and richly entertaining.

Public voting is now open and closes on Friday, 5 September. You can vote for multiple panels, but you may only vote for each panel once.

The public’s opinion makes up for 30% of the overall vote, so having your say really will make a difference.
