Share a Coke with…. Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Jamie XX, Arctic Monkeys...

Q: When is a can of Coke not just a can of Coke?

A: When Blippar get their hands on it and turn it into a jukebox, that’s when.

Following on from our first successful campaign with Coca Cola earlier this year, we have once again linked up with the world’s best-loved fizzy drink, turning every single one of their 250ml UK cans into a free, interactive Spotify jukebox.

Coca Cola drinkers simply have to blipp the dotted outline of the Coca Cola bottle printed on the side of their regular, Diet and Zero drinks to see a pair of animated AR headphones drop down on top of the can, and an animated Spotify interface appear on its side.

Users can then use their smartphone screen to tap through the 50 top UK songs on the Spotify chart, a collection of tunes that is updated as and when the chart itself updates.

So what’s on the Coke jukebox right now? Tove-Lo’s Stay High (Habits Remix), Oliver Heldens’ Gecko (Overdrive); Stolen Dance by Milky Chance; David Guetta’s Lovers on the Sun; Rita Ora’s rendition of I Will Never Let You Down; Iggy Azalea singing Black Widow; I’m A Mess by Ed Sheeran; Katy Perry’s Dark Horse and Arctic Monkeys’ Do I Wanna Know?

The campaign will be live indefinitely, so there’s plenty of time to share a Coke with Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Alex Turner, David Guetta…

Try blipping the three Coca Cola 250ml cans in the picture below to sample todays tunes. Happy listening!
